Featured in the August Issue of Crystal Lake City Lifestyle Magazine

I'm excited to share that my work is featured in the August issue of Crystal Lake City Lifestyle Magazine, a publication I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with regularly. This month’s issue focused on two of my favorite photography subjects: kids and pets.

We spent a hot summer day at Lippold Park in Crystal Lake capturing images for the magazine cover and for Katie Bobrow’s heartfelt article, “Finding the Right Family Dog.” The families, children, and Rookie, a gentle comfort dog, handled the weather like pros. A special thank you goes to Denise at Smith Physical Therapy+ for bringing Rookie to the shoot and making the session even more meaningful.

In addition to the main story, one of my earlier photos featuring Matthew and his pup Charlie was selected for “Fun Times FUR All at Lippold,” a story by Jamie Kayser that highlights the amenities and charm of one of Crystal Lake’s most beloved parks.

We also included drone photography by Fork the Man Productions, LLC to help visually round out the feature.
